Privacy Notice

In short

This notice explains what personal information credithire.uk collects, why, and what your rights are. At present this site collects no personal information from visitors: there is no enquiry form, no subscription form and no live contact route on it. This notice sets out what will apply when those routes open, and is updated before any of them goes live. We never ask for or store financial documents such as bank statements or wage slips.

What we collect today

Nothing you type. This site has no form, no login and no comment facility, so there is no route by which you can submit personal data to it. See the contact page for the routes that are open to you instead, all of which are with other organisations and governed by their own privacy notices.

Our host processes ordinary web-server request data (including your IP address) to serve pages and protect the service from abuse. See the cookie policy for what is stored in your browser.

What will apply when enquiry routes open

When an enquiry route opens, we may collect your name, contact details, and information about your accident and vehicle that you choose to provide. We would collect this to consider the next step and, where you ask, to arrange a referral. Our basis for contacting you about your enquiry would be your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not ask for, collect or store financial documents. If you ever provide free-text notes, please do not include sensitive financial details.

Where we refer an enquiry, the provider becomes responsible for the information you then share with them, under their own privacy notice.

Storage and security

No enquiry route on this site is open, so no enquiry data is transmitted or stored. This website holds no keys or credentials in your browser. When a route does open, enquiry details will be transmitted to a verified processing endpoint and access will be limited to those who need it to handle the enquiry.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal information, including to access it, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because this site holds nothing you have submitted, there is currently nothing to access, correct or delete. A named data-protection contact is published on the contact page before any enquiry route opens. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time.

Cookies

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our cookie policy.
