You may be asked for your name and contact details, the accident date and location, what happened, whether the other driver is identifiable and insured, and whether fault is admitted or disputed. Vehicle details also matter: make, model, damage status, whether it is driveable, and why you need a replacement.
The clearest cases usually involve an identifiable, insured driver at fault and a genuine need for a vehicle. You can read more on am I eligible.

An enquiry does not guarantee acceptance, payment, a vehicle or recovery of hire charges. It is simply a way to provide information so the next step can be considered. You can contact your own insurer or the at-fault insurer directly, free of charge.
